I don't know who to trust these days. Then he cut them off. He was now in his house with Star, leading her to a different room. (Mali's old room.)

Meanwhile, the ghost of Tawenhoek (Malis dead sister) came to Max. "Max," She said. "Since you chose not to save Mali, there is a one in a billion chance that she's going to live through the experements. There is still time. If you trust her, go to her. If you don't she'll die, and her ghost will walk this place for as long as you will live." Then she disappeared.
