The Partridge Wyandotte Thread

How common is it for partridge Wyandottes (mine is a bantam... Don't know if that matters) to have feathers on their legs?

My little newly hatched bantam partridge wyandotte has a little bit of down coming down the outside of her legs. It doesn't go down very far, but it is definitely where it shouldn't be.

It's not uncommon. There is Cochin in the background development of Wyandotte Bantams. It is however a disqualification so be careful about breeding from birds with feathers on their legs.

I just asked on the 'what breed is this?' thread earlier today what this chicken of mine was and had several people respond that she looks like either a Partridge Wyandotte or a mix. I'm wondering what other people that own them think. Sorry, no standing pictures right now as she is broody and sitting on eggs and has no interest in standing up at the moment!

I got some mystery chicks. They're 3 or 4 weeks old now.
At first, I thought these were Partridge Wyandottes based on the chipmunk pattern as a chick.
But now that they are feathering out more they don't have the proper pattern.

They have yellow legs. Chipmunk pattern at hatching. They don't have a single comb. The other things I can think of are ruled out Easter Egger (yellow legs), Welsummer (flat comb), Specled Sussex (wrong comb), Brown Leghorn (flat comb), there's a Rose Comb Brown Leghorn but that seems unlikely since there were quite a few in the order and RCBL's are pretty rare.

Can you all help??!!
