Lyla is my first golden. I have never had a dog before who was so completely and utterly overjoyed just to be near her people. She is only 5 1/2...and her sister is 3 1/2. But I can't imagine what life would be like without them anymore.
Brrrr...too cold still in CT to put the peeps outside. In a couple of weeks I will probably cart them back and forth from house to pen in the cat carrier.... bring them in at night Kind of a pain...but they sure become friendly!
Funny chicken riding the dog! Lyla stopped allowing that when they got to be about 5 pounds. I think their claws pinched her! She very gently reached around and gave them the shove. They do still pick at her fur and she doesn't mind. Maybe once in a while they find a bug? Who knows? My dogs roll in anything gross in the woods they can find!
