Helps to have someone hold them for you! Use nurse/baby scissors that have blunt edges if you are worried.😊
I just wrapped Esmeralda up yesterday w a hand towel.. she closed her eyes and went to sleep while i snipped away. Wish i snipped more while i was at it.. but i hate to cut away such a pretty crest 😟

Ok.. just cut back MORE and i still can't see her eyes! She apparently can see. She is looking up and down and around!!

Clover is leaving today! I'm driving (not me driving but I'll be there) him up 3hours to my aunt who'll give him to her friend.
I have a dark, plastic box with a cardboard lid I'll tape on.
My question is: should I put food and water in the box or not?

When i rehome mine, i tape a small disposable food container to 2 corners.. one with food, one with a little bit of water, and then ice which will melt slowly so it doesn't spill everywhere. I also include a sandwich bag of food so they can mix it with the food they have to help transition the chickens.
