Everyone's pullets are so cute!![]()
I will have to check--I might have a hatch chart for them.Im thinking I got 3 girls and 4 boys from Ron. Ill post pics tonight they are precocious little things. Ron what was the hatch date on them again. Im looking at tracking their growth. but Im not sure about 2 of them could be 5 boys and 2 easily or 3 and 4 the other way. A couple seems to be getting more comb than the other girls but are still smaller than the boys.
Pretty sure on 3 boys so far.
They are looking good!
My daughter and I have been watching Spain's version of Downton Abbey called Grand Hotel. There are 3 seasons on Netflix. They are in Spanish but have subtitles. Anyway, this fictional series is set in a hotel on the north coast of Spain in the province of Cantabria in the year 1905. Cantabria is right next to the province of Austurias where the Pita Pinta originated. I do have to say that I would give it a rating of PG 13. My daughter is 14 and we've fast forwarded through a few scenes plus had some discussions on moral issues. It is a who dunnit mystery and we are in the middle of season 2. We were watching an episode yesterday and suddenly, Monet said, "There are some Pita Pinta!" Sure enough, there were 2 Pita Pinta roosters in wooden cages! It made our day! Monet is taking Spanish this year in our homeschool co-op. She is now motivated to learn and both of us would like to take a trip to N Spain.

I warn you that it is addicting! I thought that having to read subtitles would be annoying but it just makes you pay closer attention. The Pita Pinta are in episode 7 of season 2.How cool to see some pita pintas on TV! Thanks for this info -- love the idea of a Spanish Downton Abbey.
