The white one looks like a Wyandotte with a straight comb..... don't really like the barred either..... I really should show my birds.

Maybe you should look a bit closer at some good Wyandottes because that rock looks nothing like one.
New exhibitors are always welcome....

She is ROUND in that picture like a dotte should be. Since I DO OWN exhibition wyandottes I kinda know what they should look like. ROUND and she is ROUND. I didn't say she was a good wyandotte. She has a bunny tail too a common problem in dottes.

Funny I remember snowbird popping in once asking when the standard changed for rocks because one won and he thought it looked like a wyandotte too.

Something else I keep in mind is that "most" Whites that are placing today are really oversized to the standard.  Since birds are not weighed at the shows judges are currently placing them simply because they look so big compare to the others.  I will be at the Newnan show tomorrow and will take some pix.  Holly, the lady that won BB at the Sunshine classic with one of my birds will be showing a 2013 bred pullet.  That pullet she won with is right at 7lbs.  I bet the "whites" dwarf this bird.....we'll see tomorrow

Scott, I enjoyed meeting and visiting with you this weekend.
I didn't comment on this statement when you posted it because I wanted you to have an opportunity to see for yourself but if you look real well at the Rocks at Newnan than you were certainly able to see that "most" Whites that are being shown are not any larger than your Colombians. As a matter of fact my whites are from one of the largest lines in the country and the pullet that Holly is showing out of your birds is larger than my hens and she is a pullet.
People can believe what they may but the vast majority of the whites being shown are not much over standard weight if they are over at all. Also, the largest rock female at the show was a Barred...she was giant!

What type of Exhibition Wyandottes do you have?

Quote: I have SHOW WINNING BLRW from Jerry Foley. Grown birds when I bought them from HIM and had won MANY SHOWS.

If you have a better picture of her in a normal position she may not look like a dotte. In THAT picture my first thought was a Wyandotte.

This SLW came from him too. No idea if he ever won a show or not.

Blue Laced Red Wyandottes are not a recognized variety of Wyandottes by the APA nor the ABA which means they could not have won any thing at a show. The only thing they would be eligible for would be Best of Variety of a variety that does not exist by the APA and ABA standard. They can't even be considered for Best of Breed in the Wyandotte Breed.
You have me very confused at the moment...
