What can I say about my state... well now it's apparently the worst performing mainland state in the whole country when it comes to Naplan results, that was on the news this morning Other states made changes to their education systems and overtook us, whereas we went backwards. This seems relevant. I start a tutoring job tomorrow where the parent wants me to practise Naplan with their kid. I'm gonna end up ruining someone's life with this job; I wasn't cut out to be a tutor but the job is high-paying and they took me because of my near-perfect high school score and I'm sure not because of any actual merit in my personality or ability to teach effectively.
