Yes. They are about the same size as my chicken eggs. My other ducks lay eggs that are significantly larger than my chickens. It’s no longer a case of them being young as this is their second year laying. The eggs are somewhat bigger than they used to be, but not that big.

No. My girl's are larger than the average largefowl chicken egg.

I've been trying for 9 years to find a bird that lays lots of eggs consistently with zero success. I've tried countless breeds of chickens - even went as far as buying Black Australorps from one of the best breeders of Black Australorps in the whole United States. That was a failure, too! The breeder I got them from bred them for increased egg production and fertility, yet mine turned out to be infertile and didn't lay very many eggs!
That's why I now have KCs. Supposedly they're supposed to be great egg layers and lay consistently. I'm about to test that and see if it's really true. I sure pray it is!

That's good to know! I sure hope my KCs end up being good layers!

Here is our K/C hen we still have. She has some kind of spinal defect which gives her a crooked butt . Hershey is still happy, best egg layer, and loudest duck we have.

i was trying to remember who had the crooked assed KC. Shes soo cute
