Other: when she was young her father tried to take her away from the palace in the dark forest empire so she wouldn't have to be a lowly servant but a raccoon killed him when they were near a village in the clucking empire. Her father told her to go to the green grazing empire but she was to young to understand.

Melody hid behind the queens thrown. She would just ask the queen if she could help find the missing hens but she was just a scavenger. Why would the queen tell a scavenger anything? Melody just needed to hear were the missing hens could be and then search for them.

Melody left the castle unnoticed with no new information. She went to the straw nest she slept in and realised it had been destroyed. "Now were am I supposed to sleep"she said angrily. She went to find a tree in the forest. She saw a good sturdy branch so she flew up to it. She landed on something feathery (Elly) and screamed.

While they were distracted, Blackberry tucked several coins in his feathers, then disappeared into the brush.

Mari-Anne being the oldest of the three would become Queen some day. “Mummy” Mari-Anne popped her head around the door, “Yes Mari What is it?” Brienna sighed. “I’m hungry. Can I go to the village?” Mari asked. “Ok. You know maybe Jasper and Harry would like to come?” She said. “Yeah maybe...” Mari didn’t sound pleased. “But make sure a guard accompanies you. I’m not going to leave you unprotected. That would be foolish” Brienna said. Mari held in a groan.

Bandit burst into the throne room. "I heard my daughter's been taken! Who took her? Are you looking for her?!" Her tone was frantic, and she laced back and forth in front of the queen.
