"Good," Chandi remarked quietly and headed back to his ledge to finish his kill that he had abandoned earlier that day.

Valiki put The song bird under her talons and ripped into it with her beak.

Having finished his kill, Chandi took off to the sky just to stretch his wings. He flew a little ways and landed on a branch, enjoying the beauty.

Valiki wondered what to do next and stretched her wings.

Chandi wasn't ready to go back to the cliffside just yet and tucked his head under his wing, falling asleep.

Valiki sighed and fell asleep on her ledge

Chandi woke a little while later and stretched. He took off and flew back to his ledge, making as little sound as possible, not wanting to wake the flock.

Valiki opened her eyes and saw Chandi flying back to the cliff.

Chandi winced a little at the sound of his talons clicking on the stone. He settled on his perch and looked around, not seeing that he had woken anyone he stared at the ocean, thinking that it looked so beautiful at night.

Chandi flew up and landed beside him, "the ocean is beautiful, isn't it?" she remarked.

Chandi glanced at Valiki, "Yes.." he said, confused at why she thought she was allowed on his perch. But there was something about her that made him not want to tell her no.
