The Real ID Act??

BTW on the topic of biometrics, the USCIS pretty much has everything they could get on me short of DNA. The medical exams are beyond thorough. It just doesn't make any sense though, as criminals aren't exactly known for doing things by the book so the vast majority of this data is from law abiding citizens.

My husband works for a major computer corporation. The one of the companies founders does not fly. He feels that he should not have to present ID for a flight within the US. He has sued the federal government over the laws requiring ID for boarding aircraft, saying that the secrecy does nothing for national security, and that being subject to a law that you cannot see is unconstitutional. He lost, I believe the suit is on appeal. For many intents and purposes we already have a national id system. Here are some links about the suits.

I think it has to do with the weather. If your are struggling against nature you tend to realize how much we depend on each other. You can die from cold on the side of a highway as easy in an old pick-up as you can in a brand new lexus. So what you see as socialism we see as helping each other out. Anybody catch 20/20 a couple of weeks ago, about happiness? Holland is #1 Canada is #10 USA #23 they said on a national level it had to do with if you trust your government, which is why Italy ranked the lowest in Europe. Corrupt government.....

What's funny is the reason I moved down here is the same reason want to go back (well this & health care)......It's soooo hot
