Sam walked up to the small cabin he and his father had built when they escaped from the Power. He skinned the deer, then cut it up. After putting most of the meat in their smokehouse, he walked inside carrying a few steaks. As he opened the door, he was promptly bombarded by his younger siblings. He greeted them, then looked up at his parents. "Dad, I need to talk to you privately."
