Karan pulled herself into the tree, positioning herself on a limb. She leaned back against a thicker part of the trunk, then opened her pack up and took out a book and begun to read.

"What are you reading?" Austin asked.

 

[TechnoCat]

Karan lifted her eyes from her book. "Wired. Neyney is reading Nevermore. Neyney reads pretty big books, that's why she's so smart."
(Wired is 465 pgs, Nevermore is 780something pgs. I read both books )

"You're smart." He grinned.

(Me too!!!)

"Neyney is smarter. Faster. More agile. What's crazy is how cunning and strategic she is. She's way smarter than me!" She smiled. "The books she has she steals from the power. She disables their security cameras and steals the books. She gets out before they even get a chance to do anything!"

"I used to work for the power, and even I didn't know that they had any books." Austin shrugged.

"Neyney worked for them too. She scoped out the place in her free time." Karan looked back down at her book. A rustle from a nearby tree distracted Karan. She quickly recovered and looked back down. Neytiri was kneeling in a tree, pretty high up, notching an arrow into her bow. She kept her eyes fixed on the ground. Neytiri pulled the string back, aiming at a deer. She pressed down on the trigger, and the arrow shot out of the bow, striking the deer in the side. Neytiri slung her bow over her shoulder and dropped from the tree, landing unharmed, beside the deer.
