The rehoming a rooster thread

Location: Clarkson, NY (west of Rochester)
Roosters name: Little Roger
Breed: Porcelain booted bantam
Weight: ?
Age: 5 months
Size: bantam
About rooster: A little shy, but very gentle. Good with bigger hens, but I just don't have space for him in my coop and run. I took him in because he couldn't stand after hatching, but I haven't been able to find a home for him.

So you guys have to check out my newest handsome rescues Colonel Sanders and Chicknorus they are so funny we had one incident Colonel tried to flog me i grabbed him and pushed his chest to the ground and that was the end he loves my 6yo son lets him pick him up and love on him and Chicknorus is just a sweetheart he was laying in the yard earlier and there was a big black lump on his back so I walked closer and there is one of the black sexlink chicks sleeping on his back and he is just laying there like nothing is going on like it was normal for there to be a chick laying on him he is the sweetest rooster

About rooster (roosters personality, why you need to rehome this rooster, etc.):

Lord Grantham is a very friendly fellow! He's not aggressive at all, just very curious and cheerful. He's starting to crow every morning. Apart from that, though, he's mostly quiet. He likes to follow us around the yard, especially when my husband is doing gardening. He'll sit and wait for him to turn up worms. He's kind to the hens, but will break up fights when needed. He's alert to hawks and other dangers and always sounds the alarm.

We are first-time chicken owners, and we're apprehensive about dealing with a rooster. That's why we bought female chicks--at least we thought we did! This boy's a big sweetie. We just aren't ready to figure out how to handle a rooster right now (isolation pens, behavior problems, etc.).

Any takers? @Flockincrazy we're really close to you. Would you be able to help us out?
