The Remaining Wolves

The Woodlands once melodious with assorted birds. Vivacious with different species. Beautiful large trees that canopy the lower shadowy sections of the forest. Now on the brink of death with a raging, monstrosity fire. Devouring every vegetation and being in its trail.

This ghastly flame was ignited by a carless human who tossed their cigarette in some tall, dry wild grass. It immediately fuelled on the vegetation carcases and high winds.

Zarzuk, a bulky silvery grey wolf. Narrowed his cold gaze at the upcoming horrendous blaze. His steady black paws gripped the ledge as the wind tossed scorched leaves and confetti of ashes at him. He couldn't believe his home was being seared.

(Sorry if this isn't good, I'm sick and can't think straight.)
A shadow of a wolf slipped by, and it's owner crawled away, trying to avoid the huge he-wolf who stood a few mere wolf chases away.
River flicked her eyes around. Unsure of how to silently get away from the male. Of all times to see another wolf. River had been scouting the land, looking for the Lunar Flower ever since her parents died, and of course, who could forget that little prick in her fur?
Her brother, Darkness. The last tie she had to her parents.
Darkness was now squirming in her jaws, his pride hurt that his older sister was carrying him like a new-born pup. River pinched him slightly with her teeth accidentally, and he let out a small yelp.
She froze, and so did Darkness.
There was no way the huge he-wolf hadn't heard her unless he was deaf.

((All good. :) I'm not picky. ))

Zarzuk constantly waved his piercing eyes from narrow to wide. The constant, choking smog was a bother. He shook his fur harshly, removing the remaining seared debree from the flames. After, he studied the rapid coming fire. He decided then he should reluctantly leave.
Just as his decision was final, he distinctly heard the young pup. He jerked his muzzle in the direction where it hearkened from and immediately spotted two golden eyes. He narrowed his stare suspiciously. "Who are you?" He demanded in a cold bark. His tail gradually lifted.

River quickly dropped Darkness, who pressed against the ground under her.
She raised her tail in warning, and she moved her paw protectively in-front of Darkness.
She ran her blue and red eyes over the grey wolf, and tensed her legs in-case of the need-be to run.
"Could ask the same of you." She said coldly. River paused for a second, before adding. "We're just simply travelers."

Name: Stormcloud. He calls himself Peter in the presence of humans.
Age: His real age is unknown, as he has spent as much time as a human as he has a wolf. He looks and acts like a 14 or 15 year old human.
Gender: Male
Crush: None
Personality: Seems quiet and maybe a bit shy towards strangers, but if you know him well you'll know he's very vocal and sometimes even humorous. He often uses sarcasm in tense situations to hide his fear or anxiety. If he feels threatened, he acts a lot tougher than he actually is, causing some to believe he's dangerous or cold.
Specie of wolf: Grey wolf
Wolf Description: Light gray wolf with amber eyes
Human Description: Fair skin, short dirty blond hair, amber eyes
Other: Believes that this "Paradise" is just some sort of weird made up story to give wolves some sort of other purpose. Currently trying to find out how many other wolves are out there.
