These are the chicks from current hatch. Sorry for the inadequate lighting. The yellowish female next to the male, with dark striped sister below and hiding under the head and neck of the plump white chick. Color on the yellowish chick is not this yellow. There are faint stripey markings on her back like the male and a darker brown snip on the back of her head. The darker female has clearly delineated stripes. At least there is autosexing.Isn't it odd how same parents can produce such different chicks batch to batch. Most of my first batch of F1's have nice beak color, not so much in the second batch.
