Yes my black ones have some spots of white mostly on the wing tips and as they are growing out the pretty much look like a barred rock. Your roo looks just like one of mine, but I'll have to grab a picture of the redder one tomorrow, looks a good bit like a rhodebar as he is.

does anyone have rhodebars from GFF? Is so, when did they start to lay. My pullets are redding and seeming interested in the next box... I think they are about 41/2 months old.

Hi hope all are doing great... The University of British Columbia did allot of work in the late 1940's on what they called Redbars.. Rhodebars....and created a strain of them back then... They even created an autosexing key that they used to sex chicks at hatch....

My flock you saw at the party is from GFF. Since you've seen them they are even more amazing. I'll try to take pics when I'm back home next week
