"Ruby?!!" Called Greatgray, the old battle master, he called his friend by his nickname, a joke that had spread throughout the kingdom like wildfire. Everyone knew Rubyeyes, second in command of the kingdom, but no one but Gray and Starflower ever called him that.
"What is it?" he laughed, his silken voice echoed down the empty hall, "And if you call me that again!"
" You'll do what, Dear Ruby? Anyways, here are the new prints for the wall"
Ruby took them from the old roo and examined them, "They are perfect, at least to my eye"
"That is good" he replied, bundling the the scrolls together, "I live yet to go another day!"
"Joke now" he responded, his voice going a tone flatter.
"You always take things to seriously, Ruby, have you no kindness" he asked as he shook his head.
"Gray, you understand my reasons" he laughed once more, "now I must return, for he shall not rest until he holds these in his own claws"
