That's a coincidence. I have a faint inkling that 26th January was when Australia became a country. I think. Or it might be the Queen's birthday, something of the sort.

ahh, ya I thought it was something like that. Canada didn't offically become a country until July 1, 1867 and even then we had very strong ties with Great Britain.
