Roleplaying is easy! Easier for some more than others, but pretty easy! Just make up a character, give them a personality, and act them out. Quite simple really; it's kind of like an ongoing storyline.

I'll give it a shot. When I have a bit more time, I'll start working on a character.

All that I ask is no 'chat-speak' when in character. Your chicken can't see a raccoon and yell, "Ahhh! G2G!"

Also, proper grammar is necessary. It makes roleplaying easier for everyone.

Moonsong sat on her soft moss nest gently rolling her two snow white eggs. She had been sitting for many days, waiting and rolling, growing more excited each passing hour.


"Darkstar!! Their pipping!!! Shrieked the night black hen, "Their pipping!!!! Hurry up, your going to miss it!!!"
Darkstar, who had been pacing nervously in front of the nursery for the past two days, almost fainted as his mate cried out.
"I'm coming!!!" He called, zooming past the nursery guard and bursting into the room, "Where????!"
"Right here!!" the hen stood smiling, reveling the two little eggs, "Look, see the little crack!!! Listen, their peeping!!!" she beamed with joy.
The eggs rocked, pecked and rested periodically throughout the night, their parents both watching tirelessly.

Morning came, a ray of silvery sunlight filtering through the leaves that fell just outside the nursery's door.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" Moonsong cooed to her son as he rested just under her wing, his little golden eyes watching the the shadows the sunlight made through the leaves.
"I shall call you Sunchick, my little love" she smiled.
As she stood she looked at the last little egg, still unhatched. She grew more worried about the small egg as the morning passed into afternoon and the afternoon to night. It was not until the sun started to peak once more that the last little egg hatched, reveling a wet new chick to the world.
Moonsong held the little chick close, "you worried me!! Don't you do that again!!! She mock scolded, "I know your name now, I know you, Alaulachick"

Sun and Alaula listened to their mother as she lead them to the crowded speaking stone, "This won't take long chicks! Just stand tall and smile, make your father proud!"
The two young birds looked at each other and back to her, she smiled and pushed them through the crowd whispering softly, "Now go! Off with you!!".
They hopped up onto the stone just behind their father and beside the other chicks, he looked back and winked.
"Thank you children"
Sunchick rolled his eyes, "This, this is pointless" he whispered to Alaula, "paw means nothing"
Alaula flicked him with her wing.

Darkstar called out the names of all of the clan's chicks one by one until last he reached his own.
"Sunchick! Alaulachick! You have all earned the rank of paw!!" he beamed down at them a raised his wings.
The crowd cheered as the new paws hopped down and joined them, minus the indifferent Sunpaw.
Alaula smiled and pushed her brother, "Be happy, Sunny!!"
She grinned as she skipped towards her mother.
"I told you don't call me that!" Sunpaw snorted, "I will be happy when I'm happy!"
"Oh your just a big booger!!!" she laughed and ran, crashing into her mother.
"Ompf! Alaula!! Watch where your going!!" Moonsong cocked her head as she looked at her daughter, "somedays....

Several hours of festivities passed and the day grew old.
Their mother yawned and smiled, it had been a good day, Dark had been called away for a bit after but besides that it had gone as planned. Rarely things go as planned here, she thought, thank goodness this did.
Darkstar walked back into view, she smiled and waved as she called, "Sun-chi---Paw! Alaula!! Come on, it's time for bed!"
They did as they were told and followed, but Darkstar stayed behind, to the dismay of their mother.
Later that night Darkstar appeared at the dens entrance "Moon, I need to speak with you"
She nodded and gave him an odd look, getting up and leaving two confused little Paw's both of whom she thought were sleeping.....

"I have been approached with a proposal for the clan" Darkstar whispered, "Icestake came to us but an hour ago, they asked us to join, we are now old enough to learn their secrets, do you know what that means Moon?!"
"I do, dear one, but do you?? What do you know of this code, besides it's ageless wars??" She replied shaking her head, "not now at least, our clan has reached a good time, peace at last and no worries"
"Moon, understand me, I know what this means, truly I do, I understand why it is necessary to follow it as well!!" he paused, "But if you wish so, I will put it on hold."
He smiled sweetly at her,"I did not wish to cause you worry, just to show you the possibilities"
She shook head, "Dear, let us go to bed for the night, we shall think on it tomorrow."


Sunpaw and Alaula had been quietly listening to the conversation, "You see Alau, this is what I want!! The code is asking for us!!" He whispered loudly, Alau clamping a wing over his beak.
"They'll hear us, shhhh!! I see that, but what does it mean???" she asked as she removed her wing from his beak.
"It means we will have a say in stuff!!" he smiled widely while giving his sister a shove, "Picture us, Reddawn clan, rulers of a kingdom!!!"
"Ya, keep dreaming Sunny, a kingdom??? Of what? Bugs??" she replied, shoving him back.


Winter now approached and with it came the icy bite of frost, the trees let go of their last clinging leaves and grass grew brown and dry. It had been months since the "code" had been mentioned and it seemed to have been forgotten, but like all things of power, it would not stay quiet long.

"Alau!! Mother wants you!!" called Sunshadow, "Alaula!!"
Alaulalight stood by the pond's edge, her eyes locked with the biggest bull frog she'd ever seen. She heard faintly the calls of her brother, but was too enthralled with the frog to respond, just a little closer froggy, she thought.
Throughout their staring duel she had been inching closer to the green monster, step by step, inch by inch.
"Alaula!!" he called once more, annoyance lacing his words, " Alaulalight!!!!!"
Not now brother!!! she hissed in her mind, just a few more inches, just a ----
Sunshadow crashed through the the dead dry leaves and angrily yelling, "Alaula, I've been calling you!!!!! Couldn't you hear me!!?!? Mum is going to kill you!!"
Down went the giant frog with a splash and a wave of muddy water.
"Shadow, I was busy!!" she yelled as she tried and failed to dodge the muddy spray, "Gahh!!! tell her I'm coming, look what you made the frog do! Now I'm going to have to clean up before I go."
"What I made the frog do?!"
"Ya"
"Just go get clean!!!!" he snorted as he walked back to their den, "wait till mum sees you!"
Alaula shook her head and walked to the camp's well.




I Finded it!! It's really long and there are probably a bucket load of grammar and spelling mistakes!
