Guys!!! I have the most exciting news. My neighbours got two little chicks a few weeks ago on top of their six hens - I always noticed the white one was a little bigger and puffier than the red one. And guess what? This morning - we heard crows coming from over the fence! The white chick is a ROOSTER!

That's so exciting... I haven't even seen a rooster outside farms.

No new pictures yet! She hasn't changed much since you last saw her, anywho.

I think you would love one. Either buy one off of craigslist that is already grown-up and friendly toward people, or buy a baby from craigslist, or locate a breeder with babies. Jade only costed tenty-five bucks. Raising her by hand was really easy, except for the one waking at night that I did for like her first two weeks after getting her at age 3 weeks, so when she was five weeks old I was able to wean her from night feedings. She was weaned completely onto seed at seven weeks.

Tenty-five, you say?

Sadly that's not the prob, I don't have long left.
It is possible I might be able to take her/him with me, but time wise I don't know if it'd be fair.

I remember the first rooster I ever saw outside of books and tv, a fighting cock someone dumped at a friends house during a storm. He had no idea what it was, called us and said there was a rainbow bird in his yard!
He was the beginning of our hobby farm, if it wasn't for the rainbow bird there you would have never seen me. Just imagine, I BYC without me... *Shivers*
