Hmmm... Non-warriors themed would make it more original. Choose an animal that hasn't been done before, too. Horses, Foxes, and lions would be neat, for example.

Somebody had started a "StarPride" lion-themed RP, but it got closed. I was thinking about horses. To make it unique I would have to totally restructure the typical RP. The normal ones have Alphas, Medicine animals, warriors, etc. I'd like to do something different. Maybe a farmyard RP?

What would we do in a farmyard? The roleplay seems like it would be really monotonous, with the exception of a predator now and then. I think wild horses would be cool, it's more exciting because they aren't just penned up all day in a little field. I'm just trying to be devil's advocate, so that you can be sure that your roleplay will be active and interesting.

Yeah, farmyard wouldn't be all that much fun... definitely wild horses. Still, as I said, I would need to totally restructure the RP, especially since there aren't hunters in a horse herd - they're herbivores! Hmm... Birdy, will you be the co-planner?

There was a cat trying type on my keyboard a second ago, but she has now settled for filling my mattress with holes.

What's up?

Any major plans for Wc? Griffons?

Perhaps a rat Rp?

They have little hands, can do just about anything plus, they have a bucket load of enemies!

Sure!

From Wikipedia...

"In the wild, Horses live in social groups consisting of a dominant stallion, a dominant lead mare, other mares and stallions, and their offspring. The patterns of their daily lives exhibit horse behavior similar to that of feral horse herds. Each group has a well-defined home range; within the range, the herd travels between three and six miles a day, spending time grazing, drinking, using salt licks and dozing. At night, the herd clusters and sleeps for about four hours. Ranges of different herds may overlap without conflict, as the stallions are more protective of their mares than their territory."

So there would be a Lead Stallion and Lead Mare. Of course there would be Foals, and then maybe Elders? Any other ideas? I think stallions are not tolerated in herds, or if they are, they're few and very low. Am I correct?

Correct. Other stallions from anywhere except the family herd are rarely accepted, but sometimes they are. Elders and Foals are a good idea.
