Muscovies, they take a while longer than most.

mushcovies......

I know, were duckless at the moment, sold our last two a few weeks ago!
Hopefully these hatch, started with four, now down to two.
I think I'll stick with button quail, not so hard to wait 14-15 days.

Are you sure you can't rent her out when they hatch? please?
big_smile.png

if it's 14-15 days, no matter how slow they are, i doubt they'll be slower then a chickens's egg.
Yeah, i'm checking it out right now.

Yeah, i'm checking it out right now.

Sure! But she screams, bites, suffers from a chronic case of I am queen of the yard.
We've had a few chicks on day 18 before.
Ya, I think there's pretty good one somewhere, I tend to explore when none of you are on, go through the recent posts and such.

the rooster over here don't care much about the humans, but anything thats a chicken, and smaller will get bullied, although there is one old barred rock that gives them their medicine at times.
exactly.

Ya, we keep with the cute fluffy roos here.

I have my Pompom Silkie roo and the odd yard rooster's a Silkie mix.

Thanks, Attack. He looks a bit like this, just without the black tail stuff

Without the black tail feathers? Okay, probably an Amber sex-link. I had one just like what you've described; short tail, light golden hackles and saddle, white everywhere else, with small flecks of brown on the wings, and odd speckles of black on his wings and tail.

He was one of my sweetest roos and I'm so sad I had to get rid of him. If only he wasn't SO noisy, I would've had the opportunity of keeping the little cutie. He would follow me around like a little puppy, he wouldn't dare hurt me, and he would actually guard me from his evil twin brother.

He sounds like an absolute sweetheart. I'm sorry you don't have him anymore!
hugs.gif

Yes, I just noticed the brown speckles on his wings. Apart from that he's all white and golden
smile.png
He was crowing non-stop all morning today, it's nice to hear a good rooster about this area.
