The Pacific Northwest is like that. It doesn't get REALLY hot until August comes along. Until late June, it's about 60 degrees and rainy.

I'm good! I got two adorable silkie pullets (hopefully they're both pullets; they're extremely hard to sex).

I have no idea how to sex a chicken. We just got told ours were females, the store didn't sell roos.

What time is it there, anyway? It's 10:30-ish here, not too late, but still pretty dark. And it doesn't get dark here until about 9:00, and later in through the summer.

I just have to upload 'em. They're adorable...

It's tricky. I don't do it professionally or anything, I just base it off of whether they're big, have large combs, thick feet, spurs, etc, or not. Silkies aren't easy to sex until they lay an egg or crow.
