To me it's fairly hot, especially when you're used to 67 degree weather during early summer. And rain.

67 is the temp if you sit in front of a stove on a winter day here. Summer has to get past 95+F at least once for it to be a real summer IMO.

Same thing during the winter for us, it gets below freezing very often or at least a little more. But then we have central heating, which I'm really not used to.

Then it's never really summer here until August or oven July if you're lucky.

To me, summer is summer. The time of the year.
