Witchstar flexed his sore foot, his stern, sharp featured face drawn in a frown. The spray of his crest feathers, usually tamed by a tied ribbon, now danced wildly around and above his head and on the whole he was looking rather ragged. His tribe had been on the move for months, in a vain attempt to escape the ever growing claws of Redhail.

Redhail was growing out of control and in constant need of territory, having taken over all lands east of the mountain barrier, now even the humans knew of them. They knew not that they were a clan, of course, just of an explosion of extremely aggressive, non-native jungle fowl. Redhail feared no one, regularly taking down deer and even a few humans, for they cared little for their own causilties. They were the immortal soldiers, their numbers seemingly unending, as one fell there was always another to take its place.


“Marrow, ready the others, we move within the hour.” Witch said quietly, facing the forest.
Marrow nodded, her weary eyes glancing over the Star, “I will go, anything else?”
“No…. I do not believe so.” he replied turning to her, dark eyes blank and voice empty.







Idea??? I scribbled it down this morning, haven't had a chance to finish it.
Redhail- Huge clan consisting only of jungle fowl. They are on a mission to cleanse the chicken world, wipe out all impure chickens: Everything but Junglefowl. They are strict, follow loosely the warrior code. Chicks are schooled separately, few parents actually raise their own offspring. Mentors are appointed, most are warriors of varying abilities.

It was just an idea. Yes, yes I know chickens can't take down people in real life, I am not four years old nor prone to listen and believe wild tails of killer chickadees. -_-
I was trying to emphasize their evilness and power, I dunno.
Rp with chickens is hard, anywho, scrap that!

No, you are right about the people and I wasn't scraping the idea; merely the people/deer.

You did not, I am watching a particularly sad movie at the moment - yes, sorry if I sounded rude or insulted, I was just emotionally unbalanced at the time!

Bawww, I hate it when that happens. Ever watched 'Seven Pounds'? Absolutely touching, and the main character dies there too...

I wouldn't be able to take a flock of bloodthirsty Polish very seriously...

I know what you mean. I don't have anything against horse RPs, we just need action in the other ones.
