I know I should be ashamed of myself but....

Honestly, I do try to be a good neighbor. The 1st 18 chickens the dog killed I didnt even call AC. And he kills them 1 at a time and takes them home. So we are talking about 18 different instances of dog terror for my chickens.
When the dog killed all of my potted porch plants last summer by urinating on them EVERY night, I didnt say a thing.
When he left monster size piles of poo in my yard every day for months, I didnt even consider placing them in a bag, setting them afire and putting them on their porch...ok....I considered it, but I did do it. *wink*

So, to have her shreiking at me was totally uncalled for. Hello! Your dog was loose. Even if I did hold him against his will (that still makes me laugh), I would be within my rights cause he would have been on MY property.

I swear. I really do have a moron magnet. Or in another life I was a total *Bleeeeeeep* neighbor and this is payback. Egads!

Guy friend of crazy psycho screaming broad knocks on my door the other night.

I hadnt but thought this would be a great opportunity to ask about crazy screaming psycho broad. He looks stunned. Apologizes and says, 'Heck. I feed your treats when they come over'

"I tell him that I do NOT want my dogs over there." So, please QUIT luring them over there for Mercy's sake."

We have a great chat, he apolgizes again for crazy psycho screaming woman and says 'no harm, no foul'.

So today my idiot dog wanders off while I am wrestling 500 lbs of feed into the barn and I just know that the crazy screaming psycho broad has called AC.

BTW, their dog still comes over here at least twice a week at night and stirs my dogs up and pees on all of my tires and my front door.

I need a new home....on a mountain...far away from crazy people.

Well dog is back....slightly worse for the wear. Crazy screaming psycho woman returned her. Apparently she invited her for a play date with the Pit and had her all afternoon.

So now my 8yr old lab/chow mix is on her bed, dosed with aspirin, unable to move as her bad hip was damaged during 'playtime' with the 3 yr old 100lb+ beastie boy.
This will involve a vet bill. I just know it. It would have been easier and cheaper to pay the fine at AC.

Still looking for that mountain....

Uggh. I know EXACTLY how you feel. We have a neighbor two houses down who constantly has dogs that they just let roam around wherever they want. They had an extremely agressive dog that was constantly coming onto our propertly and attacking our dog, tearing into our trash and stole everything I put out on my porch for the cats to eat or drink out of... seriously, like two bowls per day! My husband finally nailed a pie pan to the porch rail so they couldn't drag it off. Eventually someone poisoned the dog, at least that is what they say happened it wouldn't surprise me if it just got into someones building and got into something it shouldn't have because there was no supervision whatsoever. NOW they have a new dog, a cute black lab that is constantly coming into our yard and pooping... SUPER. I also have to survey the yard everytime I let my German Shepherd out so that he doesn't go charging after her. He is never allowed outside unattended because he would be a roamer, we know that and we are responsible owners so we keep him under our control.

This weekend our nextdoor neighbor had their daughter in for the weekend and she brought her border collie mix hellion with her. Which they let run everywhere and it and the other neighbors dog were all over our yard making Riot (our dog) go nuts and chasing each other all over the place. I watched them chase each other back and forth across the road at full speed over and over again. Then that stupid border collie comes into MY yard and when I go out to shoo it back into the neighbors yard it charges after me barking its fool head off.. IN MY YARD!! My husband went over and told them they needed to get control of their dog and she said "Oh he doesn't get to run free at our house" What is our yard a free for all for your dog? We are so backwoods you don't need to respect our property? My husband finally went over when I was letting the chickens freerange and the dog came back into the yard again and told them our chickens were out and had to be protected so if he saw the dog in the yard again he was going to have to shoot it, then he told them that he had a twenty foot lead that he would be happy to bring over if they couldn't figure out a way to keep it contained... for its own safety . He said this with a rifle in one hand and a baseball bat in the other. We didn't see it again for the rest of the trip.

Just burns me up! These people should not be allowed to own animals.
