Left to right top row: Buff Orpington mix pullet, White Leghorns, BO hens
LtoR middle row: BO hen (xl size) Cuckoo Marans pullet I believe, creme colored pullet egg maybe from one of my BOxEE mixes?? and Blacksexlink
LtoR bottom row: BCM pullet, Blacksexlink I think, BO, another creme egg, and White Leghorn
A couple of the girls are hard to tell apart, especially since I have several half-BO girls that lay similar
These are some of the variations I gather each day. The white eggs are from the Lakenvelder sisters, Minerva & Millicent. The really dark eggs in this bowl are my newest layer, Shirley the Welsummer. The green egg is Rebecca's. The tiny egg is from Ellen, a bantam cochin who is no longer with us. I now have another bantam cochin named Lola, laying a slightly darker egg.
Here's a carton of 18 eggs similar to that I periodically give to my land-lady for allowing me to keep chickens.
Here's a half dozen "sample" eggs I give to prospective customers.
And here are the wonderful labels I bought from ADozenGrlz!
