Every year fly’s my buy this one is going super quick! I just want the warmer weather to get here. That being said, it has been quite pleasant today and yesterday but there’s still a slight chill...

I LOVE the the word sizzle, it is just amazing!!

I know right! They are trying to change the breeds name to Satin instead of sizzle but to be honest I kind of like the word "Sizzle" better

Here’s my juvenile showgirl! Hopefully picking up some more soon to add to the breeding pens. I have my hands full of hatchery quality silkie roos - all of them are as rude as they come! I have one lovely buff hen, black roo, and hopeful blue hen, though. I’ll be getting pictures later!

I think sizzle is a pretty cute name for them too. I kind of get why they changed it though since if breeding responsibly 50% would still be smooth feathered rather than frizzled. I guess sizzle could get confusing since you'd probably expect it to end up with frizzled feathers maybe?

Sizzle would be a cute nickname for the frizzled satins though, kind of like how showgirl is used for the naked neck silkies.
