Yes I would say it is worth it if you have dark skinned silkies to breed them back toYou all are killing me with all these sizzles. I have silkies and now I think I want a few sizzles to go along with them. I found a lady close but she only has 1st gen. sizzles and the color of their skin and combs are way off. Would it still be worth it to get a few to breed to my silkies? I have 3 pullets and 3 cockerels and I know I need more girls but I can't find any nice birds, that is why I was thinking sizzles, she is only asking 5 per chick. But would I get the sizzle from a 1st gen sizzle to silkie breeding or would it breed it right back out again? New to this and none of mine are old enough to breed yet, only 13 weeks old.
Up on the posting toolbar you will see an icon of a picture, it's right next to the icon of a film strip, which is right next to the icon of the paper clip, hahaha. Just to give you a point of reference. It is the "Insert Image" button. Click on it and post away. Welcome.hi im new to this too do you know how to get pictures on your posts?????
The chicks will either be silkied or smooth. No barbed feathers with these two.
I do too! I think she is so beautiful. I am in the process of trying to get some of Catdance eggs for her to sit on as she has gone broody and my boy is still a cockerel and not ready to be a daddy. The chicks will either be silkied or smooth. No barbed feathers with these two.
I really like your smooth hen!
