My Sheri Minkner sizzle eggs are due to hatch 1 week from today!!! I'm SOOOO nervous!! Lol

Ohhhhhh, lucky you! Please post pics when they hatch, I always drool over Sheri's birds, they're gorgeous! I've considered ordering eggs from her several times, I just can't bring myself to deal with the stress of shipped eggs and potential loss of $

My rooster (in my avatar) is from eggs that someone hatched from Sheri. I order eggs from Sheri myself this summer. I only had 4 hatch out of the 2 dozen she shipped, I don't do well with shipped eggs. After they hatched, feathered out, and I moved them outside, I had a raccoon attack. :-( He managed to get into the coop they were growing out in and killed every single chick I had, 4 sizzles, 6 Orps, a duckling. It was devastating. Especially after spending all that money and stressing over the hatch rate, etc. I'm just glad I have a rooster from her. The chicks I posted pics of above are from that roo and are looking awesome!

I'm on day 14 and still have 12 developing!! They were an early Christmas gift from my parents. My fingers are crossed, REALLY TIGHT!!

Oh no!! I would be devastated too!! That's awful. I do have to do some work on my grow out pen b4 they go in there. It only has poultry netting over top ( was used for my turkeys) so I need to cover it more securely now that I will have juveniles in it. :/

Hi- if you have a Sizzle that is SQ except for 6 toes, can you show her? Just wondering because Silkies have to have 5 toes, but Sizzle don't really have a show standard yet. I imagine no. Just being hopeful.

I'd imagine you would show them AOV. Which means you wouldn't win any big titles, but it'll still be fun nonetheless!

I hatched 5 of Sheri's eggs on July 17th. I couldn't be happier! I love them all!
