He looks like a boy. My sizzle pullets are a little over 1 1/2 months old and do not have any comb. He's got a good size comb that is already red and has red around the start of his beak.

Would someone be kind enough to tell me the difference between the sizzle, frizzle and frilkie? Especially the frilkie? I'm pretty sure I have a good idea on the frizzle and sizzle, sizzle being a silkie x frizzle mix having some of the silkie fluff and frizzles having no fluff? How far off am I?

Woot I can do this!! With pictures! I have a frilkie, sizzle and frizzled polish x silkie mixI thought i had a sizzle, thats what they sold her to me as, butjust found out shes actually a frilkie, she has silkie feathers that are a crimped and kinky.... If that makes sense![]()
Ok so Im so confusedI like to use a straight sizzle rooster over sizzled hens with frizzled feathers. That way, the majority of your birds are what we like to see best, the sizzles with the frizzled feathers.
I think that you would breed a sizzle that carries the silkie gene to a silkie to get the frilkies. I'm about to find this out myself out of my next breeding.Yeah i too would like to know how to get a frilkie, cause i prefer them over sizzle or frizzle...
