Wow! I had no idea there was such a thing as "Sizzles" until now! They're really pretty birds!

I thought I would post some pictures of my two sizzles, which obvioulsy do not have the sizzle featering. I wanted to find out what you call their feathering. Then the next question is if I breed them to a silkie what is my percentage outcome to get a sizzle?

This one is a boy. He is already crowing. Sounds like a broken squiky toy:





Not sure on the sex of this one,but looks the same in feathering:




Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. I really dont know much about the breeding on sizzles.

These are some of my favorites! I like that they appear to be Silkie except for the whisps in their feathers...

what is the difference between a sizzle and a frizzle besides the spelling?

A Sizzle is a cross between a Silkie and a Frizzled Cochin

Frizzle is a type of feathering a bird can have.

Frizzled cochins have yellow skin, orange eyes, four toes on each foot, and straight combs. Sizzles have black skin, blue ear lobes, black eyes, five toes on each foot, and walnut combs.
