Isn't today the day Kim gets to go to the shindig? (i meant wedding?) hope she is OK today.

Well Keyt needs to get her behind rolling, we have 8 - 10 birds to go to freezer camp today

I couldn't sleep last night, I was thinking about my grandson. I even woke up excited about him!

yep the hoedown wedding is today...so no matter what kind of day you all are having just think of ME- dressed up, surrounded by women who hate me, sitting on a haybale trying to look like I am having a good time.

I DID manage to step in chicken sh...poop...this morning when feeding them, post shower. SO, off to a great start!

By shoes... I am guessing you do not mean for my feet... I literally go through 2 pairs of pads for every pair of shoes... Some times I will be changing the pads for the third time before I have to change shoes. Now... If you mean for my feet, I got through 2 pairs a year that I wear near constantly. That only started this year when I started having problems with my feet... well foot. Both ankles, but mostly just the left foot.

Which one Nova ??

Well, you're going to be sitting on a bale of hay/straw... I think chicken poo will fit in just fine. What did you finally settle on wearing?

I settled on a mediocre mocha colored dress that is scratchy and cost way too much.

Remember last week I had said that my broody was disturbed from her nest... my fault... really... and I was wondering if the chicks would survive? THEY ARE HATCHING! A day early too! They were not due to hatch until tomorrow. Oh, I can wait to see what they look like! These ones I have NO idea who the dada is.
