By shoes... I am guessing you do not mean for my feet... I literally go through 2 pairs of pads for every pair of shoes... Some times I will be changing the pads for the third time before I have to change shoes. Now... If you mean for my feet, I got through 2 pairs a year that I wear near constantly. That only started this year when I started having problems with my feet... well foot. Both ankles, but mostly just the left foot.
The one that we all love... less.

DD just made blueberry pancakes (Yum Yum) One good thing about her here is I don't have to cook and do dishes as much.
I just may think of renting her out! LOL

What a nice day this has turned out to be. Now I have almost all the laundry washed... Towels next... Oh, I hate them on the line... Going to try vinegar in the rinse cycle, see what happens.

House... now that is a different story. I vacuumed... Yup. WOOT! I am on a roll.

*sigh* the pics of the chicks are gonna have to wait... was trying to unscrew a leaky faucet for the outside hose... snapped the pipe so now I have to cut the wall open and try to repair it. Cost $125 in parts and tools(ok so I bought a few extra tools I didnt need for the job). DW is NOT going to be happy... please pray for me because she is surgical with her handgun >.<

Well, the rain came back into the forcast. My towels were not dry yet, and I had to run out and get them off the line before it really came down. Oh... Well. Now they are hanging in the bathroom on hangers and the big fan blowing on them to finish the job. If only that dryer would have tumbled for 10 freaking minutes...

I need to catch a short snooze. Its my long night... Ugh... Only got 7 eggs today... Those lazy broads..

Well, today was my first experience sending chickens off to freezer camp. Sorta anyway. I used to watch it when my sister and brother in law did it but this time I actually did a little bit of it. My bf did the deed and Aric, Rusty and I plucked and they did the guts. I handled it much better than I thought I was going to!

All but 1 of them had eggs inside. One of them had a very weird hard egg and one that was pretty much cooked so she would have gone anyway. I know they weren't laying though because we had them separated from the younger ones and only one of them laid an egg in those 4 days. I felt kinda bad but like I said I know they were old.

I didn't waste anytime taking a shower when I got home lol. Fortunately my kids didn't destroy the house while we were gone.
