I can not believe how much more harmony there seems to be in the compound, after sending 4 roo bullies off to freezer camp..
Even my 2 SLW hens that always hid in the coop were out in the run yesterday. They even ventured out to free range last night. So far no fighting trying to be top dog amongst the boys. I know more will be going though, still have too many roo's. But they managed to escape the other day and I wasn't chasing them all over the yard. It was their lucky day.

I've noticed that the couple of times I have had to get rid of some drakes. Makes me a lot more relaxed too!

Uh oh, Aric took the day off to make another coop. Smaller this time. He is so upset at the cost of the lumber this time. It skyrocketed! So we won't be making any deals or selling them for cheap again!
