Kim - So sorry about your daughter and cotton!

Rusty - They just look like hatchery quality Buff Orps.

Keyt - Congrats on the wedding offer. Your trepidation is understandable. That said, I'll be the black sheep and risk getting on your last nerve again. If an indoor portrait shoot gave you that much trouble, I think your second thinking about this is a very good thing. Weddings are hard and so, so, so demanding. Both physically and mentally. It sound like you know they're like the olympics of photography. I know you have trouble physically sometimes so that's definitely something to think about as well, you never know if the wedding day will be a good one or bad one for you. So many times clients don't know what good photography and bad photography is, what it takes to turn out one or the other, and it kind of rests on the photographer's shoulders to make sure what they're expecting can be delivered consistently. It sucks to turn money down, but when you do it for the right reasons it seems like it always comes back around in the long term... ten fold more. Unfortunately, when you're in business for yourself it's never just about that one, single paycheck.

The physical thing is something else I thought about. I'm ok to be on my feet as long as I get to sit down now and then. I guess since I'm a co-photographer I should see exactly what he wants me to do and go from there. If it's a lot of walking around and being there the whole time I will turn it down.
I'd rather just stick with my mini outdoor sessions. Until I get proper lighting that's the only thing I can handle!
