I'm running the hydrogometor test tonight, trying desperately to tell myself not to candle when i put it in tomorrow...................

I'm on pins and needles, Aside from the one pullet and roo i got from them, these would be the only babies from my hen and roo couple that died. Aside from sentament, there was one particularly beautiful chick that didn't make it, i was gonna hatch another and see what color it was...........Yellow at the forehead dots, silver and blue on the stripes. Very thin black stripes on the side of that. Mahogony back, sandy body. ??????????????? Maybe a partridge? The other 4 chicks were pretty uniform, 2 brown chipmunks and 2 yellow chipmunks. It ended up to be an orange and black barred roo, a orange and black partridge hen, a orange and black barred hen (That turned to a very hazy barring) and blue, the throwback because he had no blue as a chick. and is actually turning out red with neon orange hackles and a blue tail?

Too bad the showgirl roos don't brood............lol
Hi and bye, i wanna talk but DH needs the 'puter.

Blast, Robin, if you were gonna be closer i would be pestering you for a blue silkie.....................Oh well. I gotta get the other hen real soon. But a silkiebator to finish my eggs would be great! lol. I know, never THAT easy. They always brood when you DONT want them to!
I had 2 buff silkie babies hatch today.
