Copy that. *Activates helmet cam* Little dark in here, but the power's on. See those tubes with the critters? I think Apex was involved. *Moves through a tunnel* Nearing the source of the energy spike. Oh, WOW. *The cam shows a small, glowing pyramid, which proceeds to fire an increasingly large energy beam out of the extinct volcano* Kooshie!!!! See if you can get any feed from above Mars' atmosphere! It looks like the beam is making some sort of portal.

Hold it - something's coming down. Are you getting the feed from my helmet cam? Oh my gosh... oh my... WHAT IS THAT?! RUN, Steve, run! *Helmet cam goes staticy for a few minutes - Q9 can be heard breathing heavily* Okay, I think it's gone. Cam's out, but - GAAAAH!!! *Static*

*Runs out of the portal in a panic and collapses onto the floor, panting heavily*

Looks kind of like a cyborg bear to me. Weird!

Not a cyborg... *Panting* Some kind of... some kind of alien. Took Q9's suit right off... somehow put it on itself, threw Q9 across the room... *Collapses again, rambling incoherently in a complete panic*

It must be amazingly fast to be able to do that. *Sounds impressed, shocked, and slightly terrified* And strong. I hope that Q9's okay, because I'm not sure how one would go about beating up a creature like that...

*Finally recovers* No, it wasn't some kind of creature. It looked almost human - it was already wearing some kind of armor. It looked like others were coming through the giant portal, as well as fleets of ships.

Kooshie, get one or two of your robots and get him to the medical bay! I can't haul him there.
