I have a friend that does not frequent BYC or surf the net much. He is interested in light Sussex bantams. Does anyone in the states have them?
Thanks.

I finally got my first egg out of my Speckled Sussex - Snitzel on Monday. She's got to be around 8 months old.

I was so excited to hear her performing her egg song for near on an hour! She has now given me 4 eggs this week, and it's winter here so is quite unexpected.

Hi,
This is an open invitation to all Sussex breeders and fanciers.
Please come on over to the Chicken State University SOP thread at BYC.

We are currently discussing all varieties of the Sussex fowl. Please come and bring pics of your birds for us to evaluate and discuss. They don't have to be show quality birds. There are poultry experts on this thread whose valuable opinion you can solicit. If you can get a nice side profile, rear profile, and head shot, and a pic from over hear, this would be wonderful. Please come and join us!
Best Regards,
Karen

Feel quite sorry for my friend. He bought 3 Speckled Sussex for £180. He got them home to find one was blind and the 2 month later 2 of them were killed!
