On another note, my RIR pullet (who is also 16 weeks) was laying in the hens' nest today moving hay around. When I went over to her she did an egg squat! I'm pretty sure she's going to lay an egg this weekend. So exciting!

Hi all! Wondering if anyone knows of a Speckled Sussex breeder in Minnesota or Wisconsin? Looking for a young pullet (up to 4mo's old) to add to my little city flock I live in the twin cities so that area is preferred but willing to drive a bit too.

There is sussex breeders association on line. You could see if there is a Speckled Sussex breeder listed.
