Oi!! Why so much? Were they suppose to be show quality breeders? I must be out of touch with the going rate.
Not sure why so much, they just looked pretty to me. They were not show quality, i was shocked to hear how much they were. I would never pay that much for just 3 pretty girls. He doesn't have contact with the person as it was at a auction.I would be demanding a replacement for the blind one from the breeder. No excuse for that.

Hi im so jealous of the silver sussex!Hi, I have a chance to buy show quality light, silver and coronation sussex but really want to know how they are as egg layers. ( living in the city egg count is important as we are my allowed so many birds) what one would you recomend, and if not tese how about golden laced or silver laced brahama's ? I love the look of the light susex but really need a good layer as Montana gets cold and I do not want a bird that stops laying over winter.
Brahmas are very cold hardy but not typically big egg producers. I don't think they lay through winter either. A Sussex should definitely out-lay them and would consume less feed too.Hi, I have a chance to buy show quality light, silver and coronation sussex but really want to know how they are as egg layers.
