I have only one Coronation Sussex about 3 mo old. She is in with 2 Sapphire pullets (blue egg layer) and 4 large white plymouth rock pullets and a cockerel. They are close to 6 mo old. Can you believe they never make any noise. None of them. No cheeping. Of course they haven't started laying yet. That might really make a change. The cockerel is a teen. at 6 moI love that about the sussex! Mine are constantly underfoot or examining my hands and scolding me when I don't have treats. Even the less friendly ones would join in.
She is feathering out as a SS on the wings. But her head/face is really red so I suspect those feathers will come in more of a redish color. Lucky is a Speckled Sussex/ Red Sex link
