~The Threat of The Shadows~ A Warrior Cat RP

"Okay." Still a bit groggy, she stood up and stretched.
Brightcloud led her out of the den and Aspenfall came up to him. "Hi Brightcloud!"
"Hi Aspenfall."
"Me and Hickoryshade were hoping we could join you on the hunting patrol."
"Erm... I guess."
"Thanks!"
Aspenfall trotted off to report back to Hickoryshade

"Oh, she's out with Winterfire collecting herbs, she should be back soon!" Pebblefire chirped, knowing exactly what Breezepaw was asking even if her way of doing so was small.
Breezepaw nodded, glancing around camp again. I wonder if Beetlepaw can see them. She mused silently. "Pigeonflight?"

"Thanks," Hickoryshade meowed, standing up. He walked over to Mintpetal. "Can I talk to you? Over there?"

She was a little taken aback. "Um... sure." She followed him as he led her to the corner of camp.

Pebblefire tilted his head in thought "I think Pigeonflight and Batfang are hanging out in the Warrior den. You know how they are, they never leave each other's side." He said with a small smile as he thought of his and Goldenstar's old apprentices

Breezepaw nodded again, watching the Warrior's den intently. She laid down, resting her head on her paws and curling her tail around her side. She watched Snakelash come out of the Warrior's den, followed by Silversun and they both slipped out of camp, and vaguely wondered what the two very different cats were doing, but she was more trained to the thought of whether her mentor would attempt to train her again today.

She sat down. "What is it?"

He glanced at his paws briefly, embarrassed. "I just wanted to umm... apologize for what I said. You know, about you being a kit. It was wrong."

Mintpetal was even more surprised. Hickoryshade was apologizing? "It's alright," she mewed sincerely. "No hard feelings."

Hickoryshade looked up. "Good. I don't want there to be." He padded away.

Still half-wondering if she had heard him right, Mintpetal padded back over to Brightcloud.

Pebblefire glanced at the Warriors den, watching it and how Breezepaw stared idly at it. "Maybe you should stick your head in and see if you can get Pigeonflight's attention, she can be a bit feathered brained after all so she might have forgotten about training you today." He suggested with a sigh, if Breezepaw didn't get her mentor, he surely would as all he wanted was for Breezepaw to be the best warrior she could be and that meant her mentor needed to train her.

"She must be speaking to the one with the black pelt and fangs. Her kin." Breezepaw mused, and stood, gracefully shaking her pelt. She gave a sideways glance at her father, before trotting across the clearing, and looked into the Warrior's den, letting out the softest meow of greeting.

Pebblefire smiled gently at Breezepaw's description of Batfang, she always amused him with how she spoke of her clan mates. He flicked his tail in farewell as his daughter trotted away from him.

Pigeonflight was indeed talking to Batfang, who remained silent and patiently listened to his sister rambling on about clan gossip as she often did. Pigeonflight's attention was cut off though as Breezepaw's head stuck into the den "Hey Breezepaw! Sorry I didn't get you this morning! I kinda... forgot." She laughed, a bit embarrassed "I can take you out hunting if ya like?" She asked her apprentice as cheerfully as ever.
