~The Threat of The Shadows~ A Warrior Cat RP

Brightcloud followed, also hooping Riverlight was due very soon
When Mintpetal entered the camp, she noticed a scent of milk. Had Riverlight kitted? Please StarClan... she thought desperately as she made her way into the nursery. Setting the tom down, she mewed, “Congratulations. Could you manage one more? We found him alone in the forest.”

Skykit smelled the milk and crawled towards it, pushing another kit out of his way so he could eat. He purred as he felt the warm liquid flowing through his body

Brightcloud hurried after her

Beetlepaw narrowed her eyes at the other apprentice, glancing at her sister in confusion. No one asked to eat with them other then their father or Breezepaw's mentor and her silent brother. Especially not other apprentices, Beetlepaw remembered her time when she had to share a den with cats her age and they definitely never liked her or Breezepaw. This was definitely an odd request "Depends." She said simply, nudging Breezepaw to follow her as they moved away from the fresh-kill pile, she glanced back at the unsure tom "Grab a mouse and join us if ya want, we won't bite unless given reason to."
Breezepaw didn't budge from her sister's nudging, instead staring at the calico tom. "Why?" Her voice was barely above a whisper. Silver-eyes seemed to recoil slightly as she spoke, as if he had just been clawed.
She didn't wait for a answer, instead following Beetlepaw quickly, positive he was behind her.
And he was. As she sat down beside her sister, she saw him grab a vole, and he trotted up to the pair, settling down next to Breezepaw. She edged away slightly, Snakelash's gray tabby still giving silent warnings to keep away from the tom.
"Did you hear?" He mumbled quietly, forcing a attempt at a conversation. "About the badger attack? Sunpaw said it was pretty nasty."

Riverlight held no hesitation, “Absolutely!” She mewed. Nightblaze took the kit from Mintpetal, a deep purr rumbling even louder in his throat, setting the kit at his mate’s paws. She scooped him up immediately, nuzzling the kit and pressing close to him, with a love in her eyes only a mother could show.

Skykit purred, sensing love coming off a cat as he was picked up by it. He pressed back into her and knew he would be safe here

“Thank you,” she purred, dipping her head in thanks before padding out.
