I loved seeing the updates about them and following along! For as long as I have known about landraces, I have wanted to get chickens that would maybe be good for tolerating our climate and let them breed and raise their own chicks just to see how the land here would shape a landrace. But I already have too many chickens to do that, LOL. And I have no idea what would be good for this climate. We have both extremes here. It can get -10℉ in the winter and 120℉ in the summer.
Apparently Quartz produces a ton of males. So much for having multiple pullets from Quartz (only one of them is not a male).

I will have to talk to her about that.
