You do not give yourself enough credit!
I'm actually doing myself a favour! The best I've done is Kolovos, and that means butt-less

Ha! That's awesome.
Have you ever had Marshmallow Fluff or Marshmallow Creme? I haven't had it in years, so maybe it tastes different now, but this is the stuff kids dreams are made of

The Marshmallow FlooferDon't think I've ever heard of it before, and I've certainly never tried it.
Sounds like a good nickname for your silkie cockerel though!
Oh good! I'm down to three broodies, I'll send them over to you!Relatively calm day today
A little warmer today compared to the previous ones; Foureira was panting quite heavily for a few minutes during mid-day, but she's totally OK now.
The other hen has decided she's going broody full-time, right outside the nest. I worry if the constant stress of having to watch the other hen is tiring Foureira out.
In other news, Scary Spice is thinking about going broody too. That means there are currently two hens sitting on eggs, one sitting on dirt, and three other that want to sit.
@Canadian Wind had asked me a while back if I was tired of all the broodies. The answer was, and is, no
Thank you so much for this Tink.
A day is definitely not needed. It's just that sometimes I get the feeling I'm being more annoying than helpful. Other times my goal IS to be annoying, but only to peeps that keep annoying us on rambling threads
.
Your boy is gorgeous, and a reminder that I still can't sex silkies. I thought he was female!
I think we all get to feeling a bit over powering or maybe we are butting in too much sometimes, annoying as you both put it. I've felt this too over the years. Makes you want to stop posting or helping for a while. But I think this is a sign we are humble, empathic and are of good character. A wise person knows when to keep quiet. But sometimes we can go overboard and be too hard in ourselves. We are all friends here, we understand each other and know our short comings, don't ever sell yourself short. And always step in to help where you can, someone may be eternally grateful if you do!If it helps, Fluffy, I think the same of myself literally all the time. In fact, half the time when I haven't posted in threads I've followed or have posted in before for a long time, it's because I'm sitting here thinking I'll just annoy people if I do so I'll stay quiet.
I've been told by many, many people that my presence is not annoying. I'm not sure why my brain refuses to believe this.
But just know you're not alone, and seriously, if people are saying you aren't annoying, you can believe them!![]()
