She’s probably feeling a little vulnerable right now… worried about protecting her chicks. That pretty mum likely isn’t ready for any ‘amorous’ attempts by Lady Gaga either!

She definitely isn't, but Lady Gaga hasn't made any! He's pretty good with catching who's interested, and who's not

are two chicks. So both eggs hatched.

Scary Spice must've snuck in an egg before I took her to the other pen, because three days ago I saw a third egg in there! That one (if it's viable) will be staggered, so I'm looking to place it under Ursula.

I've decided to name the chicks Fig and Fern.

Thankfully! Breaking the girls I can't let sit is tough, but I much prefer it to any broody drought.

The babies are doing great! When mum says so, they'll get to meet dad as well

Its always that way...feast or famine in broody land. You either have none or too many! Nest box jam ups drive me crazy!
