Not my definition of EEs, but here are two that others on here would consider to be EEs

I hatched wheaten/blue wheaten bantam eggs from a breeder I found on the Ameraucana alliance directory in April. I love this breed so friendly and inquisitive.

Love them! The pure ones are always so pretty. Not like the EEs aren't, too.

I have seen some gorgeous EE but I’m starting out to breed as hobby and develop my own line with goal to show down the road. Since I’m still learning pure breed was important so I can learn genetics and predictability when pairing birds. Since EE are a mixed bag of genetics that wouldn’t help me with my goal.

Both purchased from Meyer and hatched on 9/28.

Betsy was sold as an Ameraucana (blue/black splash) -- $23
Clara was sold as an EE -- $3

Tell me if you think they got it right!

Day 1: Betsy's the darker one in front with the blue leg band) and Clara is next to her

Yes. Betsy is a Black Ameraucana, Clara is an EE.

the breed, yeah. what body time to actual ameraucanas have? these two are 21-22 weeks old, if that helps?

here’s a picture of them when i first got them. I’ve had them for a little over a week
They just don’t look right. Tails too low, bodies too thick, and the red leakage.
