I agree with Pips and CatDaddy, and my good friend, who is a USPS postal investigator and district manager and he did say that all chicks are routed to Memphis TN.

I have good and bad issues with USPS but the Decatur PO is doing the BEST they can with their ability and following orders. All of the chicks I received, the employees (particuarly the lady) was delighted with doing these chick deliveries with "happy chick chirpings" LOL! She even wants to look in the box and see the chicks and ooooh and aaaaaaah's about the cuteness of chicks.

Shipping adults or young birds, sucks with them, at the front desk, saying they can not deliver live birds which under contract and schedule given, they HAVE to because they DO have the facitlites to ship live animals. If I mentioned my friend's name, boy, they ran and did the extra measure for me because they don't want to be reported by their supervisors.
